This institute is set up in Acharya Bhise Vidyanagar, Bordi — off the seashore on the Gholwad–Bordi Road — and is easily accessible from Thane, Dahanu, Jawhar and Gujarat. The Polytechnic offers three-year engineering diploma courses leading to the diploma awarded by MSBTE, Mumbai, with a clear objective: that not a single deserving student of this tribal region is deprived of college education merely because of adverse social and economic factors.
