Policy

Ragging in any form — physical, verbal, financial or online — is strictly prohibited and punishable under AICTE regulations and law. Every student submits an anti-ragging undertaking at admission.

  • Complaints are acted on promptly and confidentially

Conduct, discipline & the law

  • False statements, suppression of information or fake documents lead to disqualification and debarment from the entire admission process
  • Anti-national activity or indiscipline can lead to expulsion by the Principal without notice; appeals lie to the Director of Technical Education within 7 days
  • Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999 (in force from 15 May 1999): ragging inside or outside any educational institution is prohibited — conviction punishable with imprisonment up to 2 years and/or penalty
