My dear engineering students
I welcome you to this college — your high-ranking college of engineering, of the Gokhale Education Society, which has more than 90 years' standing in quality education.
So far you have learnt physics, chemistry and mathematics. Now this knowledge must be developed and applied to solve practical problems. In the first year you will learn the basic subjects of engineering — applied science, engineering mathematics and graphics. Mathematics and engineering drawing are the language of engineers, whatever branch you master.
The progressive, student-centred management has provided you: highly learned, qualified and experienced faculty; well-equipped laboratories and workshop; and an independent library with 3,000+ books, 750+ titles and journals, spacious reading halls and assembly hall.
What we want from you: 100% participation — attend on time, in neat uniform, with determination; 100% attendance in practicals, workshops and tests; use the central library from day one; be obedient, disciplined, courteous and respectful. Walk the path of quality life till you reach your goal and fulfil the dream of our founder, Prin. T. A. Kulkarni, and our mentor, Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi.
