What is TFWS?

Under the AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, up to 5% of sanctioned intake per course is available as supernumerary TFWS seats — filled as state-level seats through a separate choice, open only to Maharashtra State candidates. Allotment is strictly on merit through CAP.

• Only sons/daughters of parents with annual income below Rs. 4.50 lakhs from all sources are eligible
• The waiver covers tuition fee only (as approved by the State Level Fee Committee) — all other fees must be paid
• Opt for TFWS while filling the CAP option form
• Students admitted under TFWS cannot change institution/course under any circumstances

Income limits and modalities follow current AICTE/DTE norms — confirm for 2026–27 before applying.
